Hey there — I’m Ross, and I’m really glad you’re here.
Iron Ridge Creative is something I’ve been slowly building for years, even before I knew it had a name. It started back when I was a kid, filming trains on a little camcorder in the mountains of West Virginia. I didn’t realize it at the time, but those early moments — chasing the sound of steel on tracks and trying to frame it just right — taught me a lot about movement, timing, and storytelling.
Today, that same sense of curiosity and craft is at the heart of everything I do.
Iron Ridge Creative is my one-person video production studio, focused (for now) on high-quality performance recordings and drone photo/video work. I’ve filmed orchestras in cathedrals, flown over mountain ranges at sunrise, and edited pieces that capture the feeling behind the sound. It’s been an incredibly rewarding way to combine technical precision with creative expression — and I’m just getting started.
Right now, I’m continuing to take on client work while laying the foundation for something bigger. I’m always exploring new tools, formats, and ways to tell stories that feel grounded, human, and beautifully intentional.
